Healthy Timing and Spacing of Pregnacy: HTSP Champions Network
The HTSP Champions Network community is a group of organizations and individuals committed to promoting and encouraging the adoption of Healthy Timing and Spacing of Pregnancy (HTSP) among decision-makers, program managers, practitioners and leaders in health and non-health sectors and the community. The Champions Network is led by ESD as its Coordinating Unit. ESD follows-up regularly with partner organizations to track their HTSP activities over time. Through regular communication with HTSP Core Group members, ESD keeps up-to-date on partner organizations’ HTSP implementation activities, and shares this information, along with tools developed by ESD and other partners, with HTSP Champions Network members, through on-line publications and listservs. To date, the HTSP Champions Network consists of more than 160 members, representing over fifty projects and organizations from 23 countries.
What can the network do for me?
The Champions Network will keep you informed of the newest information and research on HTSP. Through the HTSP Happenings e-update, you will be kept informed of the latest news and state-of-the-art information on HTSP as well as the activities of other organizations implementing HTSP. ESD can also assist in brokering collaborations between organizations wishing to implement HTSP in their program activities.
As the network’s coordinating unit, ESD is available to answer any of your questions related to HTSP and would love to hear from you if you are interested in integrating HTSP messages into your RH/FP programs. We have a number of tools to help you with disseminating the HTSP messages. Please visit our tools page here.
